What I do:

I help create artwork across various platforms to showcase our beautiful products. 

My skin can’t live without...

...the Dr Jackson's 03 Everyday Oil. I use it on my body after showering, and on my face after cleansing with the Dr Jackson's 07 Face Wash. My skin can become quite dry and irritated in the cold weather and this oil is perfect for soothing sensitive skin! 

Where to find me:

During the week, I spend my time around Bristol Harbourside. At the weekends, I love getting out of the city and exploring the countryside around Bristol and Bath.   

                        

What's your favourite Christmas food?
My mum's cooking and all of the traditional Christmas food and drink. Christmas dinner, spiced biscuits, mince pies and brandy butter, mulled wine, basically everything!

Where are you spending Christmas this year?
At my Parents house with my Mum, Dad, Brother, Nan and our puppy.

Who do you think deserves a Dr Jackson's gift set in their stocking this year?

My Mum. She does so much each year to make Christmas special for us all so she definitely deserves a chance to pamper herself with the Baobab & Rose Mini Set. The Baobab & Rose roll-on is great for a little luxury on the go (which she always is) and the Coconut Melt is the perfect all round moisturiser for dry areas such as lips and hands.

What I do:

All things social media and all of the words - you'll find me hanging out on Instagram, or writing the latest product descriptions, blogs, newsletters and all of the content in sight. 

My skin can’t live without...

...the Dr Jackson's 04 Coconut Melt. Whatever you need it for, it's got your back - hydrating lips, mending dry patches, repairing split ends, illuminating the skin and removing eye makeup. It smells amazing too!

Where to find me:

Eating and drinking my way around Bristol, shopping the latest fashion and beauty trends, listening to music, obsessing over dogs. 

                                       

What's your favourite Christmas food?
Christmas dinner is my favourite meal of the year - the roast potatoes have to be the best bit.

Where are you spending Christmas this year?
At home with family, it's the only way to spend it!

Who do you think deserves a Dr Jackson's gift set in their stocking this year?

My Parent's - they're both partial to a good cup of tea so would love to enjoy the Tea Party gift set while putting their feet up for some well-deserved relaxation time!

Dr Lori Bystrom, Ph.D.

What I do:

I help with creating lotions, potions and herbal tea blends, as well as making sure all of our ingredients are of the highest quality. I keep up-to-date with the latest pharmacognosy research for product research, and I help source eco-friendly packaging materials to keep mother Earth happy. I also keep the rest of the team educated about botanical names, ethnobotanical uses of plants, and science in general. 

My skin can’t live without...

Dr Jackson's 02 Night Cream! I absolutely love the fragrance and how it softens and moisturises my skin. It's especially ideal for the winter-time when my skin gets dry. The aroma of frankincense and other botanical ingredients put me at ease and help me drift away at night to get my Zzz's. 

Where to find me:

In the laboratory, making potions, or in the classroom, teaching students about ethnobotany, pharmacognosy, global food issues and sustainability. Otherwise, you can find me in a cosy corner reading botanical literature, inspecting the local flora, or wandering and pondering in a botanical garden. 

What's your favourite Christmas food?
My Mother's Christmas cardamom cookies.

Where are you spending Christmas this year?
With family and friends in the UK.

Who do you think deserves a Dr Jackson's gift set in their stocking this year?

My close friends working stressful jobs in the city. They deserve the Relax & Unwind gift set. The Relax Tea will calm their nerves and the Baobab & Rose Oil has a calming fragrance they can use as either a massage or bath oil.

What I do:

I design everything from packaging to marketing materials. I'm a creative, so I get a lot out of working for Dr Jackson's! Design that excites me is key, as well as a belief in the brand itself. 

My skin can’t live without...

...the much loved Dr Jackson's 07 Face Wash! I had never been into natural skincare products before I joined Dr Jackson's, and it was the 07 that really made an impact. I'm quite an active person, always out and about, so I like things that are quick and easy to use (no messing!), but have fast, positive benefits. The 07 makes me feel instantly refreshed - it's perfect after the gym and first thing in the morning. 

Where to find me:

Walking my dog (Flint), falling off a surfboard (I pretend I'm good at it). 

                                    

What's your favourite Christmas movie?
The Polar Express.

Where are you spending Christmas this year?
At home with my family, I wouldn't want it any other way!

Who do you think deserves a Dr Jackson's gift set in their stocking this year?

My Mum, she's always worthy of a gift. I would gift her the Tea Party gift set so she can cleanse after the holiday season is over.

What I do:

I support everything press-related, so I spend my time contacting journalists and people in the media to tell them all of the news and newness happening here at Dr Jackson's!

My skin can’t live without...

...the Dr Jackson's 04 Coconut Melt 15mL. It's my go-to product at this time of year - I don't go anywhere without it! It's the perfect size to come to my rescue wherever I am. I keep one on my desk for keeping my lips hydrated throughout the day. Then another one by my bed, which I apply to my eyelashes and the ends of my hair before I go to sleep. I also keep one in my makeup bag - I mix it with eyeshadows and highlighters to create a creamier texture, as well as a more pigmented colour for nights out. It's great for removing makeup at the end of the day too! The uses for the 04 Coconut Melt are endless, which is why it's my secret weapon... shhh. 

Where to find me:

Reorganising my beauty cabinet and wardrobe. I'm always buying new beauty products and clothes, and consequently always having to make more room! I also enjoy a gin-based cocktail or two in one of my favourite bars in Bristol.

My favourite Christmas movie has to be Love Actually.

Where are you spending Christmas this year?
At my family home in Suffolk.

What I do:

Bottles, jars, lids, labels; I take care of all our packaging needs. I organise the puchasing, packing, storing and sustainable sourcing of all kinds of glass, plastic and cardboard. Providing green supply chain solutions means I often have to think outside the box (no pun intended!)

My skin can’t live without...

...Dr Jackson's 05 Face and Eye Essence. I suffer from dark circles under my eyes, so our Face and Eye Essence irons out the corrugated creases in my face and keeps me looking fresh... like the day I came off the printer's press!

Binge watching weird TV/ movies, in the gym, virtually adventuring on the PS4.

What's your favourite Christmas movie?
Favourite Christmas movie has to be Die Hard, nothing captures Christmas quite like it!

I support our trade customers, distributors and agents, processing their orders and ensuring goods are sent out. 

My sleep can’t live without...

I've recently started drinking our Relax Tea as I've been suffering from insomnia over the past year. Just one cup, half an hour before bedtime helps with sleep.

Where to find me:

Making fashion accessories at my studio in Stokes Croft, burning up the dancefloor beneath the giant disco ball at the Crofters Rights, running around the harbourside with a swarm of people in DayGlo lycra. 

                                       

What's your favourite Christmas movie?
80's movie 'Trading Places' for sure!

Where are you spending Christmas this year?
With family at my Parents' countryside home in rural Gloucestershire.

Who do you think deserves a Dr Jackson's gift set in their stocking this year?

I think my Mum could do with the Relax & Unwind gift set as she leads such a busy life, always rushing around doing things for other people, so it would be a nice treat to help her wind down.
